Terms and Conditions

Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Our work together is dole with your privacy and confidentiality in mind. I will never give your name or any personal information to anyone. Our work together is private, and I do not discuss client details or information. If you have any questions or concerns about your privacy please let me know. 

  • Secure disposal of private information, for example shredding or digital files, is something I can provide but cannot guarantee. I can share with my clients where I dispose of those types of items and clients can make decisions on the level of security at their discretion. 

24 hour Cancellation Policy

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know as soon as possible. I will do my best to reschedule as soon as is feasible, but please note that I can be booked out for a few weeks so there may be a wait.

  • If a cancellation or rescheduling happens with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged a $75 (1 hour) rescheduling fee. I will only be able to reschedule you once the fee is paid. 

  • If I arrive at your home and you are unable to participate in the session (for example, not home with no communication) or you cancel less than 90 minutes prior to the start of the session, you will then forfeit your entire session time.

Firearm and Weapon Policy

  • I will not handle any firearms or weapons with sharp blades. If we come across one during our session I will ask you to move it to a secure storage place. 

  • I require all firearms to be securely stored during our work together. 

Hazardous Conditions

  • I reserve the right to remove myself from any space if I determine the conditions to be hazardous to health and well-being, for example the presence of dangerous mold or heavy insect and/or rodent infestations. If we are unable to work in the space I will do my best to find alternative things to work on until the hazardous conditions are mitigated. If no work is feasible due to hazardous conditions, the remainder of the session will be forfeited and no further time will be scheduled until conditions are mitigated. 

Harassment

  • Harassment of any kind (sexual or otherwise) from/towards any person in the space is grounds for immediate termination of work and the forfeit of all remaining hours paid for. 

Property Removed from Home

  • Any items removed by Organized Intent LLC for donation/recycling/disposal cannot be recovered and/or returned to clients. 

  • Any items to be sold by Organized Intent will have a written contract and inventory with agreed upon pricing and selling fee. 

Refund Policy

  • Once time has been scheduled and reserved for you, it is not refundable and is only able to be rescheduled

  • At owner’s discretion, time can be refunded in 3-hour (half-day session length) increments. 

Consultation Fee

  • The consultation fee is non-refundable, even if future work is not scheduled. 

Product Expenses

  • Client agrees to reimburse Organized Intent LLC for any products purchased on their behalf for the organization of their home. Organized Intent LLC will provide invoices with the breakdown of products purchased. Payment is accepted via check or cash. 

  • Any shopping (and subsequent returns) above 1 hour per 12 hours organizing time will count towards organizing time or be billed for.

Contact Outside Sessions

  • Clients are able to text or email Organized Intent LLC any time they wish. I will do my best to respond in less than 24 hours.

  • Phone calls made outside the hours of 9 am - 5 pm on Monday-Saturday will not be answered, and will be returned as soon as possible within business hours. 

Distance Traveled

  • I generally will not travel more than a 25 mile radius from my location (or about 45 minutes) for organizing work. 

  • Traveling between sites (ie, between work and home or home and storage unit) during a session will count towards time spent organizing.
